Jungle Safari In Bardia
10 Days Jungle Safari in Bardia National Park with Professional Naturalist of Rhino Lodge Bardia who have more than 10 Years experience of Bardia National Park .
Bardia Jungle Safari was an amazing experience as I have encountered many wild animals that have made bardia national park their home . I have done Jungle walk at Bardia National Park , Jeep Safari at Bardia National Park , Nature walk at Bardia National Park , Rafting at Bardia National Park , Safari at Bardia national Park , Tiger Tracking at Bardia National Park , Culture show at Bardia national park , Dalla village visit , Sunset View from River Bank & Lunch at swimming at Babai Resort , Birthday Celebration at Babai Resort .
Day 1 We fly from kathmandu and reached nepaljung around 9 am and roam and visit several places at nepaljung and had a lunch . We reached Rhino Lodge Bardia at 7 Pm and have a Dinner and sleep by planning for the next day safari .
Our 2nd Day at Bardia National Park was Jungle walking tour with our naturalist . We walked through the FATA for an hour and a river comes ahead us we cross the river by foot and walking towards water hole where tiger comes to swim & Drink as soon as we cross and tie up our shoe we saw a tiger coming to drink water .
we watched tiger on our first day for an hour and we have our picnic lunch at the Tiger watching tower watching rhinos swimming on a group . Our walking safari was more exciting once we saw tiger as we might see another . Our Naturalist always makes us excited as we can see baby tigers with her mothers on few side of the bardia national park as he have spotted it many times there on his jungle safari .We saw a wild elephant on the last hour of the day near Elephant Tower ( Hatti Machhan ) . We saw plenty of Birds on our first day to make our jungle safari in Bardia National Park a memorable one . We returned back to the resort and swim on our sister company pool near our resort which is a huge resort in bardia national park with its facilities they provide . After swim we took a jeep and move for village sight seen where we can know the village life style . Most of the people live with their family members as joint family with their Grand Parents and Fathers .Sunset view from Dalla Home Stay was one of the memorable as sunset was going so Faster that we must capture the moment in the short period on our photographs .
Bardia National park is one of the best destination for river rafting too we can encounter many wild animals on our rafting safari which is best knows as boat safari in Bardia National Park . We can Do rafting on the river which you can see the picture below . British Price Harry was here to do safari rafting and did a short hike and jeep safari at bardia national park and we can see harry chock while crossing the SAL forest before the karnali river for his remembrance and support towards national park it will be always in visitor heart .
Our 4th Day was one more memorable day as we was with our four Naturalist with Picnic Lunch . We was so lucky that our hotel Cook was with us too and he was carrying Fresh Bakery item that was cooked in our resort . We have picnic lunch at bardia national park and enjoying our day with jungle safari by walking tour inside bardia national park . We walked different places to know more about national park area .We was at another end point of the Bardia National Park Manau Village where we can see village and River and near there were many water holes where we can see tiger coming to drink water and haunt Domestic animals that come to graze at Bardia National Park from nearby village . We was so lucky that we saw a tiger chasing Deer For a few seconds and we wait there till 4 PM but it did not come and we back to our resort with a nice Dry Picnic at Bardia National Park .
Our 5th Day was rest day and on this day we went for lunch and swim near by resort and went to Visit Dalla village where we can know more about the local Tharu people living life style . We came through elephant breeding grounds where we saw a wild male elephant was there nearby after watching a while we become back to resort for Barbecue which was prepared for us to enjoy our leisure day .
Our 6th Day was Tiger Tracking Day tour with our Naturalist to know more about the tiger history and its territory . We follow the Fresh foot print of the tiger and follow it until we reach them if its possible or wait near the water holes where we did not find the footprints that have been given a sign by the jungle king Tiger of Bardia National park . We walked through fata and reach SAL forest and saw Leopard walking in the road from far away with the help of our binoculars . We tried many possibilities to see the tiger but we was not lucky enough at this day and we have our lunch near the bank of the river and we believe we can see tiger coming to the water holes to Drink or Swim . Bardia National Park tiger tracking tour was going to end without seeing Tiger this time but once we moved towards hotel on the way we find our resort Jeep safari group and we join them in a rush as there was another alram at the other location as our Naturalist always go to national park to know more about the Bardia National Park . Finally at the end of the Day we saw 2 Tigers at a same place crossing the river . We drive back to the resort with our resort jeep . We did camp fire and Chicken Barbequee this night to and enjoyed with others group and staff members who was with us at the jungle as our safari guide . Our Naturalist can be hire if you wish to book on advance from your country .
Our 7th Day was fishing tour at Babai River . Day fishing at babai river to catch golden masher fish was so much exciting trip for me as i have never done it before on mine bardia visit . We Drive to Babai Valley and hike to the fishing spot and start our fishing but our Luck did not favour us because there was a big rain on the upper side and the river water was not good to fish .
Our 8th Day was free day we enjoy walking at local market and collecting more information about tharu people and watching local tharu people house work from near and helping kids from own side . We took bicycle from our hotel staff and roam from 11 am to 4 pm . Tharu are famous to their ability to survive in the malaria parts of the terai that were deadly to outsiders . Our Tharu guide was kidding with us that they are malaria free people.
Our 9th Day another Jeep safari at Bardia National Park with our Naturalist of Rhino Lodge Bardia .We went to several machan in the morning at 7:33 am we reached hatti matchan stay for a while to watch the tiger hiding behind the bush near the water holes . Till 8 am we was there but there was no any sign of tiger so we did an hour walk and reach the middle of the national park near kingfisher which is the best spot to see Rhinos and the jungle king Tiger . I was able to snap the Rhino Picture climbing the tree with the distance 3 Feet below me . I was about to touch the Rhino if i down mine Leg which was crossing the River .We walked to Small Kingfisher and saw a beautiful Rhinos with her kids and a Tiger was behind them following to kill the small Rhino . Our Jeep was near Tinkune and we Drive to Balkuni from there crossing the River and had a lunch there . Our Luch was so tasty because we was looking Tiger swimming a far away from us at the River . We moved to sal forest and did the jeep safari and at the end of the day while being back we saw Leopard walking ahead us. We again plan for the next day and went to resort with beautiful memories .
Our 10th safari at bardia national park came to the end without any planning as i was there without any planning , World was effected by Corona Virus Covid 19 badly and i got the information from Airlines that soon our country is going to be lock down so after lunch i Drive to Nepaljung to Fly to Kathmandu with the beautiful memories that we have from Rhino Lodge Bardia Team .

We came to Elephant Breeding grounds and was able to see the same elephant which we have seen in Elephant Tower in Bardia National Park as it was male and was there as its meting time . Every wild elephant knows it by the female smell the leaves and come for meting , After spending short time there we move towards our resort where our delicious Dinner was prepared by our cook (KALU) the man who is invisible always but he will be always in our mind whom did this food cook which was so delicious . We had our Dinner and our Tharu Culture show group came to our resort and we enjoyed in our resort so much for an hour .
Our 3rd Day was so much excited as we have seen many big animals inside the bardia national park on our first day . We took a jeep safari tour and we moved towards sal forest for jeep safari in the morning as our naturalist described we can see Tigers & Leopards in Bardia National in the morning time as those animals walk in the path where we are travelling through to explore the national park . We saw many fresh tiger foot prints on our way and finally saw a leopard walking on our way and hiding behind the tree and we came near the leopard and saw it crossing the road in front of us .We really enjoyed our safari in the morning and had a cup of tea / Coffee as per our choice standing infront of our jeep , After our Tea / Coffee we went for Dolphin Sight Seen for a while and saw Gangatic Dolphin at Bardia national Park.
Our Naturalist Mr Sitaram brief us that near the river where we was standing is the camping place for the visitors who want to sleep inside National park and that can be arranged by Rhino Lodge Bardia and we return back to hotel and went for Swimming on the resort Nearby and have some drinks .
Our 4th Day was one more memorable day as we was with our four Naturalist with Picnic Lunch . We was so lucky that our hotel Cook was with us too and he was carrying Fresh Bakery item that was cooked in our resort . We have picnic lunch at bardia national park and enjoying our day with jungle safari by walking tour inside bardia national park . We walked different places to know more about national park area .We was at another end point of the Bardia National Park Manau Village where we can see village and River and near there were many water holes where we can see tiger coming to drink water and haunt Domestic animals that come to graze at Bardia National Park from nearby village . We was so lucky that we saw a tiger chasing Deer For a few seconds and we wait there till 4 PM but it did not come and we back to our resort with a nice Dry Picnic at Bardia National Park .
Our 5th Day was rest day and on this day we went for lunch and swim near by resort and went to Visit Dalla village where we can know more about the local Tharu people living life style . Our 6th Day was Tiger Tracking Day tour with our Naturalist to know more about the tiger history and its territory . We follow the Fresh foot print of the tiger and follow it until we reach them if its possible or wait near the water holes where we did not find the footprints that have been given a sign by the jungle king Tiger of Bardia National park . Bardia National Park tiger tracking tour was going to end without seeing Tiger this time but once we moved towards hotel on the way we find our resort Jeep safari group and we join them in a rush as there was another alram at the other location as our Naturalist always go to national park to know more about the Bardia National Park . Finally at the end of the Day we saw 2 Tigers at a same place crossing the river . We drive back to the resort with our resort jeep . We did camp fire and Chicken Barbequee this night to and enjoyed with others group and staff members who was with us at the jungle as our safari guide . Our Naturalist can be hire if you wish to book on advance from your country .
Our 7th Day was fishing tour at Babai River . Day fishing at babai river to catch golden masher fish was so much exciting trip for me as i have never done it before on mine bardia visit . We Drive to Babai Valley and hike to the fishing spot and start our fishing but our Luck did not favour us because there was a big rain on the upper side and the river water was not good to fish .
Our 8th Day was free day we enjoy walking at local market and collecting more information about tharu people and watching local tharu people house work from near and helping kids from own side . We took bicycle from our hotel staff and roam from 11 am to 4 pm . Tharu are famous to their ability to survive in the malaria parts of the terai that were deadly to outsiders . Our Tharu guide was kidding with us that they are malaria free people.

I was about to touch the Rhino if i down mine Leg which was crossing the River .We walked to Small Kingfisher and saw a beautiful Rhinos with her kids and a Tiger was behind them following to kill the small Rhino . Our Jeep was near Tinkune and we Drive to Balkuni from there crossing the River and had a lunch there . Our Luch was so tasty because we was looking Tiger swimming a far away from us at the River . We moved to sal forest and did the jeep safari and at the end of the day while being back we saw Leopard walking ahead us. We again plan for the next day and went to resort with beautiful memories .
Our 10th safari at bardia national park came to the end without any planning as i was there without any planning , World was effected by Corona Virus Covid 19 badly and i got the information from Airlines that soon our country is going to be lock down so after lunch i Drive to Nepaljung to Fly to Kathmandu with the beautiful memories that we have from Rhino Lodge Bardia Team .
